The IT Perspective
IT professionals’ concerns focus on time management, resources needed and security issues. Specifically:
• Are unique applications and print drivers needed?
• What security risks exist? How can we secure our network?
• What are the time and resource requirements to manage our mobile print?
While all of these are valid concerns, Today’s mobile print solutions have taken them into account. Applications and print drivers are not unique and are easily manageable. A high level of security is also built into the operating systems of most mobile print solutions. As a result, IT time and resources required are minimal.
